Bro, the Gloom Spawns still get my heart pumping, and I've killed most of them. They are easy to avoid, but the vibes are so intimidating that you're - or at least I'm - scared the whole time.

I understand the flux construct thing, when I saw them in the trailer they looked way bigger than they are actually. I think that the flux constructs would've been better if they were gigantic. Like.. Attack on Titan size.

For me, Gloom Hands are actually pretty scary. Unlike Guardians, they're not visible until you get close enough to them, and that causes them to be scarier than Guardians. Plus, Guardians are much easier to beat than Gloom Hands and require less preparation.

Frox's are 9 /10 for me. My very first encounter caught me completely off guard in the pitch black of the depths leading to a quick death. Also, they're basically Dodongos, except they jump far.

Fighting the gloom hands in the depths around the ancient skeleton beneath eldin is FIRE. The terrain is super rugged, and if you get backed up onto the steep hillside, it be omes a game of truing to land hits without getting knocked down the hill. The steep terrain also makes flurry rushes SUPER hard to pull off without getting stuck. All that, plus the fact you are trying to avoid the gloom on the ground (in addition to what the hands and phantom ganon add). The fight ends up dragging out and it's super tense. Best gloom hands fight!

Hinoxes are even better because you're attacking the eye one of the most iconic zelda things ever imo

King Gleeoks are the best bosses in the game. The fights that are really hard to reach like at the very edge of the depths or the highest place in the sky are epic as hell

I liked the Frox quite a bit personally. If your first encounter with one was in the dark without a lightroot being active nearby you probably know how scary that is. It feels like a harder version of a Hinox and the fact that bombs are one of their weaknesses is a nice nod to the Dodongos.

I did not realize you could ascend Battle Taluses. My first encounter with one, I literally spent 10 minutes climbing a nearby hill to attempt to fly onto the Talus lol.

I find it very weird lynels aren't considered mini-bosses despite them being one of the hardest on the list and having more Hp then most of them.

I think gloom spawn is scary every time you see them until your equipment is strong enough and you have more hearts.

I loved the flux construct.
Yes its overused but it's decently fun.
Yes just like any boss you can cheese it but i dont do it so i have more fun.
However i do agree that the 3rd version of it gets a bit frustrating how frequently the weak spot moves around.

My ranking for it is a 8/10 good fight but has few minor issues with it.
