'Squid Game: The Challenge' Players Speak Out on Competition

"Squid Game: The Challenge" is the spinoff to the most-watched series in Netflix history. It pits 456 real-life contestants against each other to compete in games for a $4.56 million cash prize. But the show is facing accusations by some contestants of "horrific" shooting conditions. In a statement, Netflix says they “invested in all the appropriate safety procedures. While it was very cold on set – and participants were prepared for that – any claims of serious injury are untrue.”

This show shows you that people throw around the word "friend" and the term "I love you" too easily. They barely knew each and acted like they were leaving a life long friend.

for all those complaints, i'm pretty sure they wanted to recreate the scenario as accurately as possible. those who complain probably never expected it to be that bad in the show.

This game show was actually very interesting alot of twists that were not in the show but the drama was too much at times 😂😂

Ashley is probably the worst person on this whole show i am really rooting against her, the gaslighting is unreal

Who here got frustrated with Ashley in that glass bridge game? The way she gaslit Mai for calling her out! I mean, Trey (the son) should've survived that game, he already made two right guesses and Ashley didn't step up to try😅

I actually applied to join and I actually got a callback! The only reason I did not accept was due to not being able to be off work that long for shooting! Sounds fun still!

I just finished episode 9 and sorry but… Ashley BYE ✌🏼 she’s acting like such a victim for what Mai did to her but she literally wouldn’t move for 301 at the glass bridge. So she’s only a “team player” if it benefits her 🙄 can’t stand people like her. And the group acting so surprised at what Mai did when they didn’t bat an eye about what Ashley did FIRST when they also all supposedly agreed to do that game as a team too? Wtf is wrong with these people loool

I didn’t know that people could be worse than the made up characters in the original Squid Games. But turns out I was proven wrong 😬

I love 232! Dr. Rick was my fav. So sad to see him eliminated.

I'm watching the show and I feel bad for player 299 - Spencer.

As someone who suffers with anxiety, he didn't want to do the umbrella cookie and he was forced to do it because 432 is a jerk.

I feel bad for player 299. Mental health and anxiety disorder is no joke.

I hope the producers take contestants mental health seriously next time.

Just watched an episode where 429 got eliminated after moving his whole desk to get up and then Mai started acting like super detective knowing damn well she heard the whole desk and chair move.

My favorite was Bee (018). Such an underrated character. She’s very smart.

Its definitely a good social experiment and shows you how the idea of a big money prize can corrupt anyone.
