Stuck skidder

Our operator misunderstood where I wanted some wood decked. He fell through the ice that had frozen over a flooded area from the earlier rain we had. The sheet of ice proved to be our biggest obstacle in getting it out because most of the equipment had been moved onto another job.

That's definitely stuck . Glad it came out. Years ago I worked for birchem logging for 9 years seen there timberline delimber in a spruce swamp. Operator couldn't even open the door to get out. Crawled out back window escape hatch. What a mess to get that thing out. Took 2 days. Drag of wood behind the skidded is man's best friend gives good leverage to help push yourself out while bring pulled

When my car gets stuck I put the floor mats under the tires and that usually works. Much easier than all this
