Who are you?

This is the story of a writer who, after having great success with his first book, has a disastrous creative block. So much so, that not even the pencils want to write for him.
In her anguish for him, a delivery girl arrives at his door and delivers a mysterious box. After inviting her in for coffee, they share a pleasant conversation about fame and success.
What's in the box?... No one knows what inspiration can be wrapped up in.

It has been a year since I first watched this animation. This has been collecting webs on my watch later because for some unknown reason, I just can't completely get rid of it . I wanted to watch it again! which I did just now... It's so good! I think it changed my something in my life, an aspect. I don't usually ask strangers to do me favors but I would love to see a part 2 of this. See how the play went and how the characters end up TuT.

What moved the man was the realisation that his work impacted, helped, befriended and influenced a life. That realisation moved him to work again on his craft with heart and passion.

I watched this movie the same day it came out, I kept thinking about it everyday and I still do, I come back here every time I don’t know what I’m doing, so it can help me and remind me of what I’m capable of doing, achieving and making! I have many hobbies, that I can’t keep up with, and when people ask me who am I, I find difficulties explaining what am I, who where or when I am myself, a writer? No a poet, well actually I can sing, dance, and bake, cook, crochet… hold on, I can also make jewelry, draw and design, etc… so many things, and saying my name is not sufficient for me, my name doesn’t define who I am… and the impact this movie left on me is unimaginable! I watched it when I was a teenager who was dealing with identity issues, that found this video one day and decided to look for what I am… I love this movie ❤️

The injured, but perfectly fine dog at the end was actually quite impactful. At first we would think the worst- the dog died, coz chances of surviving was near zero . But this animated short shows that even the "near zero" Chances must be acknowledged.

He was motivated to look again at the empty box and at that very moment he got an insight. His mind was happy at the end when she said positive words about his work. Therefore, it is necessary to fill our mind with positive thoughts so that we can have a positive outlook towards our life.

I think the little red colored fairy dust shimmering from the empty box in the end indicates that the man can find inspiration from the things around him, even the most mundane ones. Throughout the animation, everything is in black and white except for the color red splattered in different objects and persons. The man was suffering in writer's block and possibly even depression and generally loss of meaning and purpose in life. The moral of the story is there is no great unknown or no great surprise that we need to constantly find in order to be happy. We just have to look for the magic even in the most ordinary things and continue our journey one step at a time. 😊

"There's nothing in the box" like our lives, we all started empty, and day by day we fill it. We fill it with happiness, love, pain, sorrow, success, etc.
Well, the size of our boxes doesn't matter, what really matter is what we put inside, if we decided to put negative things like hatred then our box would be very heavy making it so difficult to carry. Like in our life, if we live on full of hatred, bitterness and anger, then it would be so difficult to move on and hope for tomorrow.
