My computer wasn't able to recognize my Galaxy S3 as a media device for 6 months.
However, following the instructions of this video fixed my problem.
Thank you very much.

Thank you for this video. It DID help! Who would have thought it was that easy? Also, thanks for being such a great son and making this for your mom! :)

I am SO appreciative of this video. I had been showed at the AT&T store how to change my battery. They make it look so easy but in the time it took to order the battery...well I had forgotten and this is my first smart phone. Thank you Dr. Cruess for your generous offering. I will certainly spread your informative presentation on You Tube.

I haven't used the phone in years and wanted to format it before giving it away. I had to find out how to remove the battery first. Thanks so much.

Thank you for posting this. My phone just turned off and wouldn't come back on. I was so afraid of breaking it, trying to pry the back off to get to the battery. I appreciate you showing me how!

Thank you so much. I was getting very frustrated following so many suggestions from other places and none of them working. Who knew it would be so simple!!

This really helped me out. Thanks for the video!
My Samsung Galaxy phone would not turn on twice over the span of four months. By following these steps, I got the phone to turn on and start working again both times. This is a technique that is also recommended by some phone companies like T-Mobile.

Nice video. Thanks for the help. It did clear-up my screen blinking off & on for about 3 months, came back. Then I decided to score an OEM battery from ebay for $9.99 Everything works perfect! I'm keeping my Note S3 for a few more years (fingers crossed) It's been bought & paid for when I purchased it over 3+ years ago.

Thanks for the video! I purchased an old S3 and the battery life was very poor, so I bought a new battery and used this video to learn how to get the back off.

Life saver! Thank you! You have so far the easiest and best video I found online. I dropped my phone badly and thought I have to order a new one. But it works!!! Thank you :-)

Thank you so much for this video! My phone just got frozen with one of my alarms going off. After about fifteen minutes of searching around for answers, since it wasn't immediately obvious to me on how to get to the battery, I was starting to think the only way to make it stop was going to be to smash it.
