Multi-millionaire Scott Galloway offered a refreshing perspective on mainstream media about income and wealth inequality. He warned MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough that America is susceptible to a revolution as a result of widespread disillusionment with the system. He goes on to explain how the tax system is rigged in favor of wealthy elites like himself and calls for that to change. In this video we react to his comments and supplement his arguments with additional context.

Seems like the American aristocracy is starting to get nervous about us peasants sharpening our pitchforks.

One of the greatest tricks billionaires ever pulled was convincing the rest of us that we need them.

The idiocy of putting a billionaire in office because of income
inequality is not just ironic it's horrifically stupifying.

How about we stop calling them "elites"? Call them "greeds" instead.

I once got in trouble for telling a customer "I can't afford to shop here" when she asked me for a personal recommendation. I worked in a high end furniture and wares company. She asked me what my favourite dinnerware set was. I showed her. She commented that I must already have it. I said "no, I can't afford to shop here", and my floor manager overheard and berated me for it later when I went into the back. Like...sorry for letting our customers know you don't pay me enough, I guess?

A billionaire, a regular worker and an immigrant are sitting at a table. 100 Cookies get served. The billionaire takes 99 and says to the worker. Look the immigrant wants your cookie.

I’m 50 years old. In my lifetime I have witnessed the greatest redistribution of wealth ever in America. FROM the middle class TO the top 1%. Oligarch corporate rule is a national security threat.

The French still remember the revolution and that's why the people protest so quickly in France and why workers have better lives as well. In North America the people are afraid of the Government but in France the Government is afraid of the people... US citizens - remember (and emulate) those who gifted you the Statue of Liberty.

Maybe creating a situation where people are angry and have nothing to lose in a society that is awash with firearms is not such a good idea.
