How to Refund Games on Steam (Step By Step Tutorial)

In this video, I will show you how to refund a game on Steam. The fastest way is to click on your profile on the top right corner. Then select “account details”.

Then, click on “view purchase history”.

Now, the games you purchased will be listed here. Select the game you want to refund. I will be picking Pro Evolution Soccer 2018.

Pick the “I would like to refund” option and then “I’d like to request a refund”. Here, it will show how much it will refund to your Steam Wallet and also the game you want to refund.

Under “tell us why”, select the option that best represents your situation. In this case, the game I purchased does not meet the requirements on my new laptop due to the game being too old.

Give them a brief description on the situation and once you are done, select “submit request.”

Steam will respond to your request and let you know if the refund is approved. Generally, games that are bought in less than 2 weeks have a higher chance to get a refund.
