I once had a relative asking me (2nd year med student) what is my opinion on their doctor's (consultant) prescription...

I really wonder if they would've stopped their medications if I say that its not the right prescription...!


I always get away from such situations by saying if they don't trust their doctor, they should consult another doctor.. not a med student..

Plot twist: even a real doctor doesn't know. I can't count the number of times where I go to the doctor for an issue, they decide to run some basic tests, nothing shows up, and they just say you're fine and send you home. Classic. So now you got an issue that's unresolved because doctors are too lazy to dig deeper.
