Improved SAP GUI AI Agent

Today, we return to the topic of my AI agent project working in SAP GUI. Let’s take a look at what’s changed and whether the new tools provided to the agent truly introduce a new level of quality. Today, the SAP AI Agent will take on tasks worthy of an ABAP developer.

Of course, we’ve tested the capabilities of LLMs in ABAP programming on this channel many times before. This time, however, the approach is slightly different. Knowing the strengths and weaknesses of various LLMs, we already have an idea of what to expect from their code. Here, we’re more interested in how efficiently the Agent can navigate the SAP system using a GUI that’s designed for human users.

Does the Agent have the potential to become a self-sufficient ABAP Developer and Basis Administrator in one? Could it replace all consultants? Or will it simply be a useful assistant for developers? Watch and judge for yourself.

This topic is very interesting. It would have many more comments if not for two technical errors in this video. These are differences in the offset of the text editor in relation to the place of your process information. From the place (5:26) Offset (delay) by one line in relation to what you say. And from the place (6:43) Offset (delay) in text editing in relation to what you say by three lines in relation to what you say. Fix this and your audience of foreign new viewers who do not speak English on a daily basis will certainly increase exponentially. I am Polish and do not know English and I have to use much more time to translate this process regardless of the editor. The topic is really exceptionally interesting in connection with the planned end of data migration in SAP companies to S/4HANA in December 2027. I believe that using the AI ​​Agent for this purpose is a breakthrough and at the same time a revolution in data migration. I am looking forward to the next episode.
