I'm excited to test out (yet another) Agent Framework!

One benefit of Google's Agent SDK will likely be better integration with Google's Models and APIs, especially the multi-modal capability. I've found wrapper libraries like LangChain are not able to keep up with how fast the foundation model APIs are changing.

I feel like google gets too little recognition for what they doing ... gemini eco system, sharing your executable code in google colab, talking to a PDf with notebooklm and make a podcast out of it, google cloud... now agents

People argue nobodys googling these days, these guys deserve some credit

What do they mean by orchestration logic is it something like the emergence ai where it can orchestrate a entire new agent if needed?

Really appreciate the content! Where is a good place online to find devs experienced with agent SDKs to get advice & support on building a powerful multi-agent MVP? As a non-technical person, the AI-enabled full stack suite incl v0, cursor etc. seems to be the holy grail at first but traps you in endless iteration cycles.

does the adk provides the tools recording the model token usage?

I understand that ADK and Genkit have different emphasis, but it's still kinda' weird to introduce both at around the same time, with so little connection. I might have thought that dotprompt would have been the point of intersection, particularly with their race to add Python to its supported languages in time for Google Cloud.

There was some new a while back that Google fired their entire Python team .. not sure that was fake new or what .. but if true at all, its interesting to see that the SDK currently supports only 1 language, and that language is Python !

I tried to do the google QS and tutorial.... not work... silly problems, typical GCP google problems... you said you would be doing some demos after this video.... i dont see them on your video list.

great that they left the MCP things out, it's risky to let anything gain full access to your local machine.
