A look behind the scenes at upcoming show 'Shorty's Dream Shop'

Tucked away less than a half mile off Route 67 in Midlothian sits a shop of dreams.

Inside Shorty’s Custom Paint Shop, the namesake, Javier “Shorty” Ponce, houses his collection of past and future. The Oak Cliff native, 58, is known in the classic car restoration world as one of the best painters in the business.

On a recent visit to his garage, a TV crew was filming the remaining scenes of the 10-episode series, "Shorty's Dream Shop."

Shorty was great on iron resurrection but the new show that's all they do is change parts no creativity thanks but if that's the way motor trend t.v. is leaning count me out
