This is Johnstone Pipe Band's March, Strathspey and Reel set in the Grade One Competition at the RSPBA's Scottish Pipe Band Championships held in Dumbarton on 30 July 2022.
The band is under the direction of Pipe Major Keith James Bowes and the Leading Drummer is Leslie Galbraith.
The set comprises the following tunes:
March: Maclean of Pennycross (traditional)
Strathspey: Dora MacLeod [Peter MacLeod, Jr (1916 - 1972)]
Reel: Miss Proud (traditional)
The reel Miss Proud makes its debut on this channel, and MacLean of Pennycross makes its second appearance.
The Championships were held in Levengrove Park in Dumbarton on Saturday 30 July 2022.
The Scottish Pipe Band Championships were presented by The Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association (RSPBA) and West Dumbartonshire Council.
