I found it just sufficient enough to jzst fold over the end of the bag and then fold over the rest of the bag on top of that. That way the weight of the remaining chips (totally works with very little chips as well!) that way the weight is holding it down and they will have the same consistency as new the next day! 🥰
And yes, I pour my chips and what not into a bowl, and then I do the bag that way. Also keeps me from munching away the whole bag at once, lol.

I have a salton version of that bag sealer. Has a magnet on the back so it lives on my fridge. I love it.

Put a gift card in a bag of white cheddar popcorn for one of my kids. I opened the bag from the bottom, wrapped the card in saran, and sealed it back up 😂 took a day for him to realize he didnt just get a bag of popcorn for his bday. Lol

Neat. I wonder would this work on cereal bags, I live by the Ocean, high humidity, I find chips and cereal go stale really fast if not sealed.

Jen, if you save those foil bags, you can iron them together ((parchment paper on top to protect it while ironing)) to make a DIY emergency blanket! Pretty cool 😎 I have 3 bags so far, lol

I've had one of those sitting in one of my kitchen drawers for about a year, unopened. It came as a free gift with something I ordered through a mail order catalogue. I've always simply squeezed the excess air out of packets and folded the top of the bag down then put a clothes peg or two on it. Never a problem.

No kidding, my mum has had a similar version of this gadget for about 35 years. It’s very nineties in design but still works. Seems they’ve had a revival.😊❤

I recall my first chip bag sealer…. From almost 20 years ago. It’s amazing how things come back. The next time it will be remembered for its much earlier release in order to call it “retro” and sell them again.

Best * cheapest way is to cute bag down according to need. Fold over the corners inward but not touching then, fold over the top twice then clip with a clothespin or one of those clips that come in a bad that are coated with melted vynl. Works fantastic!! They last forever ! Keeps food fresh forever as long as you push out the air before folding over the top. ( * forgot to add that in😮) Enjoy.
