I am in LA and cold calling everyday 200 or more but only 2-3 people pick up the phone, the same as expired no-one picks up the phone anymore, door knocking no-one open the door anymore since Ring came on the market.Any suggestions? please

How do you handle another agent
as I got the listing but my client told me last night as I had them sign more disclosures because there old school they do not do DocuSign
so I have to see them almost every other day

Sellers told me the other agent that didn’t get the listing reached out a week after to check and see if they repaired the damaged floor and if they cleared out the house.

my clients, that by the way took me two years prospecting them and finally convinced his wife to listen to my presentation just 20 minutes right Jackie, just 20 minutes lol gave me the listing.

Said to the other agent,
oh no we’re already working with another real estate agent, sorry.

The other agent goes what happened I thought you were gonna call me I was waiting for you

my clients tell her well no you were supposed to check in with us but we weren’t gonna empty the house we don’t have money for storage we don’t have money for repairs.

I guess in between all that time I magically called them told me about that agent and I said I’m not gonna ask you to repair anything or put anything in storage let me have a meeting with you and your wife and let me show you how I can help you sell your home and get you into your dream home.

Seller was happy about that.


So the other agent said really, OK dont tell her i called and let me help you buy the other property then.

I felt bad and almost told my clients to let her help them buy it.

BUT

I’ve been hustling forever and I got lucky that they finally sat down to talk to me and give me this listing

so no Ill stop at nothing to get this listing sold for them so that they can buy their dream home
and thank God it’s still available so I have to hurry up and get this sold and in escrow fast.

Sellers are literally a couple of blocks away from my house so I’m very blessed that it’s close to me.

So I’m going to pick them up and take them to see the replacement property that’s about an hour and 15 min away from us

But I’m determined to make this happen.


The listing agent for the replacement property said it’s still available and she
knows we just put my clients house up for sale
And we plan to get that house
