Katie wonderful message for today’s Proverb.
There is a way which seems right to a man. But its ends is the way of death. Proverbs 14:12 and repeated in Proverbs 16:25 is referring to our propensity to rely on our own thoughts and ideas instead of what God tells us we should do.

Goal: following GOD'S path (not your frustration, not your heart)

NEW YEAR - we all want new new new new new... what is God telling me to do

Big decision - take time to think
"what seems right isn't always right... isn't always an opportunity God is calling you to take"
- ask good question (thought)
- wise counsel
- God (slow down and listen)

Take your time
- you don't have to rush these big things (walk through life)
- I think for me thats why you prepare in advance to give yourself time so you have it and you can spend that time PAYING ATTENTION and LISTENING and OBEYING

Take a breath (ground)
- instead of hasty decisions (emotions pulling)... this lets you realize you're okay
