By the way, the two people they showed -- that were arrested and "put on the right path" -- would still be arrested these days and put on the same path with the new passed measure here in Oregon, because they probably used way more than the decriminalized amount.

The small amounts that were turned into a misdemeanor instead of a felony are way below the usage levels of those that could overdose or get severely addicted, and turn to crime to support their habit.

Now might it allow some to try more drugs, maybe, probably for some. But typically, the people using these harder drugs at unsafe amounts have terrible lives, and their lives are the real problem we need to try and fix. The drugs are just a survival and coping method, a symptom of disease.

The real disease is typically lack of opportunity (sometimes due to racism or misogyny), poverty, and abuse, but sometimes just person medical issues. And thankfully, even though it has health risks, many find the comfort of drugs instead of doing worse things.

Decriminalizing drug additions just keeps them from access to a judge who can give them a chance for the state to pay for their treatment. Period. It's just they don't want to pay for your addiction treatment. Too expensive and most relapse. Get used to seeing overdoses on the street.

I live in Sweden, And there is just some people who is useing mask and still working and have stores open.
They only stop Sverving Alcohol after 22:00 a clock(Nighttime) and no dancing and keep distanse if possible. Peoople are fine here. Still working and some use mask...
