Honing exposed aggregate driveway smooth

i did this to my driveway and it looks a lot better and super smooth after sealer looks a lot better and doesnt hold all the dirt in the gaps. only downside is slippery when wet

Apart of honing what else can you do to get the smooth surface out of exposed aggregate concrete driveway. Please answer.

I know this is an old video but we are in the process of removing an inch+ thick layer of exposed aggregate that was installed over our pool deck concrete probably back in the 90’s, we have been using an handheld jackhammer with chisel bit but it’s taking forever… would this process work to remove it? Looks so much faster
