British MP: ‘Trump could be a Russian asset’

Earlier this week, British lawmaker Graham Stuart raised the possibility that the president of the United States, Donald Trump, had been groomed by the Kremlin’s security services over a period of decades.
In a post on X, he said: “We have to consider the possibility that President Trump is a Russian asset. If so, Trump’s acquisition is the crowning achievement of Putin’s FSB career, and Europe is on its own.”
Stuart’s post comes amid seismic geopolitical shifts, as the Trump administration courts Russia, freezes military aid for Ukraine, and sidelines Europe as it attempts to end Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine.
Speaking exclusively to the Kyiv Independent, Stuart explains what prompted him to make such an extraordinary public statement, and what it means both for the future of Ukraine, and the continent as a whole.

It boggles my brain how T can insert himself into any diplomatic negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, acting as though USA - and he personally - can assume the role of sole negotiator.
