Gov. Beshear: VP Harris has my full endorsement

Gov. Andy Beshear, D-Ky., joins Morning Joe to discuss President Biden's decision to end his re-election bid and to say VP Harris has his full endorsement and if he will consider running as a vice presidential candidate if asked.

As a Kentuckian, I'm proud to wake up to this type of interview today. Way to go, Beshear. You're great for us, so now it's time to let you be great for America.

I respect what Beshear has done for Kentucky. I had preconceived notions about people from Kentucky (think McConnell) but this man impressed me when he won, but even more when he acted after major flooding in the state. He is definitely someone with a unifying message and ability to reach across divides. I think he’d be a good choice.

As a Kentuckian, I am honored to call him my Governor. We had historic tornadoes that were on the ground for over 200 miles. He took care of all Kentuckians. He opened up State Parks for housing. Unlike Trump who finally went to Puerto Rico and threw paper towels at people. Trump didnt even know Puerto Rico was a US territory.
Gov Beshear works for his state. Very Honorable man.
