As someone who absolutely hates Uptalking and who also thinks the English language has lost its previous glory because of American Uptalkers and even worse British Uptalkers who wanting to sound Americans have totally spoilt their language and who most of them are today unable to complete a simple sentence unless they make it sound like a question it is time you discussed the use of Uptalk.
I work with many initernational customers and my heart sinks when I get phone calls from British customers and hear that most of them can't even say their own name unless they make it sound like a question.
Example:
me - May I please take your name Sir?
Customer -John Smith???
Total decline!
