I think if this is really how they intended Mistlands to be played, they really needed to make the infested mines stand out far more from above the mists. They do not look nearly distinct enough from the rest of the terrain to make this strategy viable. Works great for towers, but I get up high and see 10 peaks that all look like mines that end of being more rocks.

I wonder what Yagluth will drop.
So far bosses give something useful for progressing in the next biome, we are tied 2-2 on crafting materials vs items with the 4 that have actual items.

My guess would be a latern of some sort that repels the mist out to about 20 meters where without you can only see 1-2 meters away from you.

With about 20 hours in new mistlands bios I've been in flatter (for the mistlands) environments and more claustrophobic craggy ones. The flatter ones are way more fun and less frustrating.

This is generated mistlands not the places that got broken by pre-launch exploration. Seems like there's too many dwarf settlements and not enough dungeons as well.

I have only played nomap after my first completion

I heard that's how the devs played and that's how i play and it's fun.

It'll take me like a year to find a mistlands on this new world XD maybe another year to traverse it

My brother and I started playing this game for the first time. We got addicted and progressed to the mist lands, then both lost full taste for the game.
This biome was beyond frustrating!
Hopefully in the next update they make some changes to it! Cool concept but terribly executed imo

Hopefully in the future once the ashlands releases there will be some kind of sponge item that lets us remove the mist.

Challenging terrain and the inability to see very far made it a frustrating biome. The enemies were fine, but constantly getting knocked around off cliffs and into water was not.

Lies fake news mist lands is overly complicated design is intentionally that to restrict player progression and time lock us into playing the game longer

I fookin HATE mistlands. First playthrough I spent over 30 hours trying to find anything . I quit.. gave up. I'm coming back to it now to see if I can grind through it..
But honestly, if I don't get anywhere after a certain amount of time I'll just uninstall the game and move on..
Mistlands is such a waste of time and it's so boring and frustrating! Devs were morons for doing this
