I just got one today, was dropin 30 inch trees with it. Plenty of power for what it is, i've had a few saws now, nothing this small, but is great for the average tree and is easier to move around in the woods with, got a 20 inch bar on it now. Cut straight threw the wood not at an angle it will dull your chain an not cut as well.

Wonder what it would have cut like with a Sharp chain?
Whenever a Saw is cutting on a curve, the teeth on one side have been dulled/damaged.

pos saw comes with skip tooth chain for small 2 to 4 inch trees. they use to be good saws. made by polan now

perfect example of how not to use a saw !!! and chain is not only blunt as hell but wasnt sharpend properly last time !! the cut is not straight! !! if its not sharp then dont even bother trying to cut with it !!all your doing is stuffing the saw and the bar and a new bar for this saw is almost same price as the saw itself !!! and you should never try to force the saw just let it cut its own way threw !!! this saw is not made for wood this big either! !! but will do it from time to time !!!

it would not matter if the chain was new. the saw is underpowered  and that is why the chain has half the teeth of other saws. It is for pruning at best

@jonesbrent85 every engine has problems. nothings perfect not echo not craftsman not sthil not husqvarna, not briggs and stratton, not honda, not Kawasaki, not ford, chevy, dodge, everything out there is mass produced at sometimes you get a defectvie one.

@Penguinboy1995 it was free from crafman i bought a saw from them and it pooped the bed and it was only 1 day old so thay gave me the husky for free thats why crafman stinks

Besides not having the right equipment that saw is circle cutting so bad maybe you should go back to baking cookies
