My thoughts on the ten items:
Flint
Hunting Knife
Swiss knife with spoon & Fork & File within
Silky saw
Bedourie (spun steel oven/pot/frypan/bowl in one)
Kelly Kettle to boil water fast & cook using kindling
Drink Bottle for water storage
Toothbrush
Sleeping bag
Large Canvas tarp

Assuming:
Head torch and appropriate clothing is included

Exclusions because:
Cord - because I could use vine or split flax with knife. Notch wood together
Fish line - its hit and miss. Better building a fish trap with rocks, sticks & flax net
Axe - because hunt knife should split timber combined with silk saw, while only kindling needed to cook. Axe isnt very energy efficient
Gill net - id take over a fish line, as could work in trap also, but other items more important so left it out
Shovel - id just make something if I thought needed. Dig with hands or carved stick etc
Prong Spear Head - that would be very handy for trap & maybe fishing but best to make own with sharp burnt stick than use up an item.

Having never seen the show, I'm confident I wouldn't last ten minutes. Fun episode, cheers for the vid :)

I would last years, but I need pallets of West End cans, Port Adelaide games on kayo or radio, and my Dogs and my Birds. Also live Supercars link and tickets in the local pub beer raffle, tab betting account, so really 2 to 3 days has to be midweek. Also depends where its at. Flinders, Daintree easy. Fraser Island see you in 10 years time haha

A good pair of waterproof boots. A poncho, tarp, hatchet, knife, paracord, water bottle, steel pot, sleeping bag and flint. If you can wear what they drop you off in maybe I could remove the first 2 from my list.
