She's one of my favorite vocalists. A joy to listen to. Her softer upper range is angelic, but then she really projects her voice in the middle/lower ranges that is flat out sonorous. On top of all that, she always looks so happy to be singing - always a smile. Great performer.

Yeah, that smile is infectious. I was drinking a beer in a bar before their clubgig in Finland and suddenly she stood beside me, smiling at me of course. Since she was picking up her lunch, I decided to be polite and didn't start bothering her with a bunch of questions, but I had to smile back at least. It's just that lovely.:)

We are so used to listening to the mediocre that its a real shock when we find real quality as here. These two are just so supremely talented, both for their writing and performances.

As well as Anneke's voice it is Danny's playing that is extraordinary; he's not a guitarist who just happens to play a bit of piano, but he's a fully fledged pianist. The only other guitarist I can think of who is adept on both instruments is Peter White, from a previous generation of musicians.
