35mm Film in a Mamiya 645 1000s

I loaded a 35mm film roll in to a Medium Format [120mm] camera. I got hold of an adapter to fit a 35mm roll in a Mamiya 645 film insert.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Loading a Medium Format camera needs a leader. A 35mm roll does not have any leader at all. I broke down my process and observations in the video.

The exercise was fun. But I also wasted some unexposed film due to some mechanical limitations on the Mamiya 645. After the 15th shot, the camera can't crank up another shot anymore. So I probably wasted around 5 shots in a roll.

Wanted to do something oike this with my Bronica C2, had to improvise my way around so many obstacles like the camera only advancing the counter and cocking the shutter when 120 paper presses and rotates some rubber rolls 😂 mamiya seems to be a bit more easy to "cheat" 135 film into working 😊

If you will add a canister on the receiving spool with two more adapters and this way you no longer need dark room to change it.
And you probably need few of those older canisters from film days.

If you use the 220 film adapter for that camera you can use a 36 exposure 35mm canister and you would be able to shoot 30 photos using the 220 film adapter

this is awesome stuff! i just ordered a Mamiya 645 super, i'm excited to use it. It comes with an AE prism finder, is this going to be a reliable way to get exposure right? thanks a lot!

Hey! i had a question, if you would be able to help. I've just got my mamiya 645 super.
I have been firing the shutter and winding the shutter release just to test it out. I'm wondering, how much resistance is there supposed to be? sometimes it feels like i might be winding it too hard, like it might break, but then it clicks. I have not put in a roll of film yet, waiting for it to be shipped. I would just like to know any good practice and anything i should know to not break my camera! i have also not yet put a battery in, I will have to go and find one.

I also wanted to ask, when using the aeprism do you have any tips for nailing focus? I see that your pictures are quite in focus most of the time.

Thank you! I tried this yesterday and I also had the issue with the overlapping images. I thing you have the only video online which addresses that. Did you find a way around it? in My case for the last like 6 pictures give or take (out of a 36 roll, shot on a 220 magazine) they stopped overlapping, so I guess it's because the film rolls over more when the circumference turns bigger. Any clue hoy to fix it?

I have another question how do you rewind the roll when you have already shot all the images, I tried with a roll but it was not possible, I used a dark sleeve, but I tried a lot, could you make a video of how you rewind please? Greetings from Chile
