Knox Bertie - With the Leica Q2 Monochrom

Knox Bertie's photography is focused on people, their relationship with urban spaces, and the changes to Sydney as the city grows. Moving beyond traditional street photography, Knox’s work sits somewhere between truth and fiction, showing fragments of time and space, offering an emotional portrayal of life in Sydney. His work explores new techniques working with both traditional film photography and digital black and white photography using the Leica Q2 Monochrom.

I too am using a Q2 mono and the fact that looking at the space around us with this camera has changed almost everything because of the camera's innate
capabilities. The camera and my thoughts seem to agree with one another. I too continue to make digital images as if I were in the darkroom fifty year ago.
