Today is not only the first day of Spring, but ALSO the International Day of Happiness (thanks, United Nations!). This seemed like the perfect song to celebrate.

That Pharrell Williams sure hit a home run with his tune "Happy".

I went up to "Saranade Studios" and recorded the track and a live vocal.

Kind of at treat having Sara with more than an occasional glance at the camera -- it truly loves her. Very nice production.

I don't know the song, but I love the acoustic bass in the arrangement, and the throw-back chorus. Reminds me of that last of the beatnick days in the early 1960s -- truly a happy time.
