Deir el-Bahari or Hatshepsut's temple in Egypt is a complex of mortuary temples and tombs located on the west bank of the Nile, opposite the city of Luxor, Egypt. This is a part of the Theban Necropolis. The first monument built at the site was the mortuary temple of Mentuhotep II of the Eleventh Dynasty. The temple of Hatshepsut is considered to be among the greatest architectural wonders of the ancient world. We visit the temple as part of the Living in Luxor vlog series. This is #LivinginLuxor episode 13.

Thank you so much for watching!

Top class report. I love flooring in temples hardly anyone takes note.

Really enjoyed this one, Next, as it brought me back to your most excellent tour I was fortunate enough to join last year. This is also one of my favorite temples - a really great vibe throughout and it looks as if it were built last week! Loved the music (which just keeps getting better with each video), the pop-ups and of course, Trinity's comments. Certainly a highlight was the nearly comical discussions concerning Myrrh! Again, watching these Living in Luxor videos is like being there. It's real and fresh - all of it. Thanks again for bringing me back to Egypt, my friend!

It's gonna be close if I can can even make it to a trip to Egypt this year but it's still on my mind but I suck and have improved and it's basically close to the way I would want before a real launch and it's just a hard thing to start over but it's getting closer and I don't know but I have to do mostly everything again. LoL

would had enjoyed your vd more had you left out some of the annoying music--at one point I thought there were turkeys gobbling in the background but it that sound when you scratch the lp back and forth; I couldn't finish watching because of the pain in the ass music and inconsistent volume of your audio--you ruined an otherwise very informative and interesting vd. Hope you fix it and I'll be back to watch for now, I have to find another vd. Shame.
