Nice Monte Carlo. A blue SS stripe kit would look awesome. The engine sounds very strong n tight. No smoke from the tail pipes. Great little classic Chevy.

Today I see that Maple Motors put up a very nice ride and at 40 years old with out a trick. For this Monte SS is as clean as can be and still has a lot of drive time that you see. For the price will go a long way for the love that you can give her today. Nice 40 year old Monte SS, so don't let her get away. For she is a sweet car of the day.

An odd fact about the G-body cars; they tend to rust out on the roof area right above the driver and passenger side windows. I don't know why, but I've had 4 of them, and they all had it. Same with the rear decklids. I can't explain it. But the ones from the 80's like this are still one of my favorite cars of all time---the perfect blend of great styling, luxury, and with the right engine under the hood, performance too

The 1984 Monte SS only came in 2 colors, blue and white. The silver exterior wasn’t offered until 85 along with exterior colors, black, maroon, and white, and they dropped blue in 85. I know this because my first new car was an 85 SS, maroon.

Nice car and a lot of work was done to it ! 84 Monte Carlo ss’s only came in blue metallic or white and they only had 180 hp 305 so this car is pretty sweet
