I accidentally deleted my program from mindstorm do you know if there’s any way to recover it?

Is it possible to import a program from a NXT brick and run it on ev3?

I'm on a mac, and my program isn't highlighted. I've imported things before that worked, but this one doesn't import. it was downloaded as "ev3s".

I was checking out Tools> Import Brick Program, so it seams like this should be the process for uploading a program from a brick, but all I can find is the Demo file. Anyone know if this tool is for real?
