This was my first Devinah purchase. The palette is nice and the shimmers surprised me with how sparkly they are with their smooth texture. I’m usually more of a piecy shimmer gal, but these are beautiful on the lids. I didn’t think a lot of them were true multichromes so I’m glad I got it on Black Friday discount. I also bought the brushes, but to be honest I haven’t used them yet and may just resell them since I have better brushes from Rephr and the Glam Shop that are natural hair.

*to elaborate, I prefer a base that blocks out my lid color. Like a concealer but less wet? The eye base reminds me of the ud primer so far? I'm not a huge fan of how my mattes are blending on it. 😢 However, I am enjoying the shimmer/glitter glue so far! I haven't had any creasing which is fantastic!! 🤌 I wanted to pick up the brushes & palette on bf but I missed it! Now I keep going back trying to buy echidna, thoosa & thetis but they're never in stock at the same time 😅

The 2nd look is so pretty. The mattes did look powdery and I appreciate your opinion on them. I'm glad to hear you feedback on the brushes not just shapes but the feel of the bristles.

So glad to see your video and have your opinion on the Devinah newness for bf! I've got the palette and the brushes too. The mattes did perform better for me but I'm using the Nyx HD primer. For the brushes, I have to use them a bit more before having an opinion. I would love to see a video about your favorite brushes and primers if you feel like filming about these topics. I got the brushes over Black Friday and splurged for the mystic cove collection over this one (a little too pink for my tastes). I hope they consider selling the shimmers separately and now I kind of want to try the primers now.

The mattes are quite powdery. I was however happy with the looks I came up with.

Davinah makes my favourite matte eyeshadows when it comes to colour but the formula is not good imo. I wish that Davinah and Sydney Grace would combine their businesses. Sydney Grace is a little boring to me, and Davinah’s mattes don’t stick down. They could call it Davinah’s Sydney Grace. 😂
