Grip tape is at this moment in time the cheapest way to improve my experience with a gaming mouse, if I so decide to need it. By far the best grip tapes are Xraypad Cicada & Pulsar Supergrips.

I screwed up the edit, so some text does not show up on the video; Xraypad Cicadas feel softer and are more textured than the Supergrips. Supergrips are not soft at all, but extremely grippy/sticky as new. Cicadas feel a lot nicer in hand, Supergrips are stickier. It's 50/50 for me which ones are better. Both are VERY good for me.

bought the pulsar grip tape and been very happy with it struggling to get the placement down for where I want it on my pinky and ring but feels so good on the triggers and thumb grip, game changer for non coating mice.

Lamzu grip tape is goated. Its thick foor widening narrow mice and the feeling is soft and grippy.

Do I see an OP1we in the background? 👀👀
(All jokes aside, not sure if you already recorded the video, but a comparison with the Viper Mini shape would be clutch 🙏)

for making a mouse wider I use 0.5mm thick double sided tape. It works as griptape, too if you put rubber on it but i actually prefer less sticky materials like frosted plastic.

Unrelated but will you drop a initial impressions for the GSR 2 ? If not, would you say it’s about the same as the first GSR with just improved resistance against humidity

There are only two grip tapes I would recommend.
I have tried a lot, corepads, xray pads, hotline, lizard skins. I even tried different medical tapes and diy ones.

Pulsar super grips and razer pre cut grips are my recommendations. Pulsar for the fingers and Razer for the thumb. When installing the razer grip tape make sure the square is facing down. So its like a standing up diamond.

Man i wasted so much on grip tapes and mouse feets

i have worn the rubber on my modified Viper Ultimate and i can see exactly where to tape should go, kinda handy. Should take some more weight off it too.

I've tried several grip tapes and I find corepad tape to be very grippy and I daily drive it on my pulsar xlite v2

I stand by using grip tape. Might try out Pulsar's supergrip eventually, but corepadz are my easy go to every time

I absolutely love grip tape and can’t play without it, the mouse just slips and moves on me to much otherwise. I don’t understand how people can be so anti grip tape! I’ve heard their logic but I think their reasoning is silly. All personal preference though. Im all about that corepad soft grip life, definitely wanna try out the super grips though

The one thing I'd have to disagree with you is on the Pulsar griptape. I remember you mentioned it in some other video and I ended up buying it. It has been the worst griptape I've ever used. Literally 0 traction. In fact, some mice have coatings that are grippier than this griptape on their own. Now you're a very credible guy for my money, but the Pulsar griptape is complete garbage. Personally, I find the Razer griptape much better.
