Old Montreal fire: 2 arrested in connection with blaze that killed mom, daughter

There’s been a breakthrough in the investigation into a suspicious fire in Old Montreal that killed a mother and daughter from France.

43-year-old Léonor Geraudie and her daughter, seven-year-old Vérane Reynaud Geraudie were killed in the Oct. 4 fire that ripped through a century-old building.

Police allege one of the men threw an incendiary device that sparked the fire and the other drove the getaway car.

Why use the term mastermind. It makes the person or people involved sound intelligent. They should use words like despicable, corrupt, degenerate, iniquitous, nefarious, and vicious.

A corrupt cop went to his criminal bosses and told them he needed the guys responsible for setting the fire.
That's what happened. The cops couldn't solve a crime like this on their own.
