I have an associate's in Unmanned Aerial Systems (aka Drones) and learned a heck of a lot about the systems on the Global Hawk. It's crazy that now I'm able to fly something I've learned all about!

I'm visiting New Zealand for 2 weeks later this year. So beautiful, but so far away. Amazing to see how it looks in this game and Queenstown is one of the most beautiful citys in the world! See you there Trev?

Fun fact: the military has been using drones since World War II. They were gutted then loaded up with bombs and had to be taken off with pilots inside the plane. After take off the pilots would parachute out and pilots in a following plane would take control. They had video feed of the control surfaces, it was incredibly cutting edge tech for the time. The missions often failed, JFK's brother died in one of these missions. It's called Operation Aphrodite

One thing they had absolutely right during the 90s was futurism.
I love that (now retro-)futurism aesthetic from the 90s. Nights playing Ace Combat, Wipeout, Ghost in The Shell and all that wondering what my life would be like by 2020.
I can't see this video without thinking about the "Frozen Soul" mission at the edge of space in Ace Combat III and its awesome soundtrack for it.

as a new zealander im so happy you finally flew here.
you shouldve downloaded world update new zealand, so you could experience the landscape to its fullest.
if you fly to new zealand again you should fly around the coromandel peninsula in the north island

He needs more blankets and a comforter plus a pillow. Love the song. Go to a local radio station and talk the DJ in to play your song over his station.

Made in the late 1990’s early 2000’s and this is technologically advanced now imagine what kind of technology the military has today that we have yet to be told about

While I was deployed in Iraq as a JTAC, I would have UAVs check on station and the pilot/operator was located in Texas! Crazy

You can climb it up to 60k in flight sim, just as in real life. You just have to know how to fly it, know the best climb speed and stick to it.

Also another version called the MQ-4C Triton that differs from the global hawk with additions of reinforcements to the airframe and wing, de-icing systems, and lightning protection systems.
