Date Picker Widget Control in JQuery UI

The jQuery UI Datepicker is a highly configurable plugin that adds datepicker functionality to your pages. You can customize the date format and language, restrict the selectable date ranges and add in buttons and other navigation options easily.
By default, the datepicker calendar opens in a small overlay when the associated text field gains focus. For an inline calendar, simply attach the datepicker to a div or span.

Telusko: I have a query. Please address it.

Instead of using the datepicker control with mouse, the user can use the keyboard to enter wrong date. For example: the proper date (dd/mm/yy) while selecting through datepicker is "31/12/2020". But I can enter "12/31/2020" through keyboard. That'll send a wrong date to the database. How can I stop it?

bro you explain very good but in html also date is selected in very simple way just select input type and choose id or class that you want and select type="date" it represent date just like you explain

Yes, very nice, But, you left out the Most important thing, How do you get the Date into a Variable so as we can use it?
