Exactly right. Russia is in the process of committing war crimes. If someone is killed as a result of your committing a crime, you are responsible. This should be an open invitation to NATO to increase aid to Ukraine and air defenses at the border. Russia put Poland at risk, not Ukraine. Russia should be made to pay.

When you have an enemy force firing missiles and rockets to targets that close to a national border, errors can happen. If the orcs do not fire the Ukrainians do not feel so compelled to return fire. That said, since Czar Bedpan innitiated this war, Ukraine now wants pro Russians off their lands.

Am I wrong in assuming that surface to surface missiles are completely different than surface to air missiles.
S to S blows up on contact or are set to airburst and such. Surface to air missiles basically track and launch at incoming missiles and then blow up sending a wall of steel to take out targets.
That being said, I think that if surface to air missiles miss a target I don't think that it blows up on contact with the ground. Hence it's just falling scrap metal at that point.
I don't know, I could be wrong. I just don't want to see NATO members feeding the public bogus information on a rocket where it would leave the two party's involved which would be NATO and the frigging Russians realizing a potential for a new round of whack a mole rocket.
