I like the idea of percentage health though 60% seems like a bit much. Maybe like 30-40% plus an additional flat amount of damage instead so you're still nearly one shoting squishies but not 2 shoting every tank

If you have noticed, widows scope is almost instant so she is not supposed to stay near the back like hawkeye. She has to fly over the enemy, get a headshot, and end with a kick. (or any melee.) So you basically have to play a boomer shooter while playing her.

Having stamina on her is dumb tho.

In the lore black widow is supposed to be a super soldier whos rival is hawkeye. But she doesn't even have infinite sprint like captain america, nor does her dps even compare to hawkeyes.

She’s actually good when you realise she’s not strictly a long range character. Don’t get me wrong, she can play those long range angles, but she actually thrives at medium - close ranges where she can be with her team and use her abilities or team to finish off a target after a headshot.

I will admit, her ult could use a buff and her sprint not having a limit would help her out a lot.

She shouldn't have infinite sprint, that's Caps thing because he's got the super soldier serum. She shouldn't have a rifle for long range, that's Hawkeye and Hela's thing. She should have two machine pistols and her taser gauntlets that have a short range stun.

Wait hold on, that was actually a really good solution, especially anti-heal on her ultimate. That makes so much sense to do that I’m surprised it wasn’t in the game already. Same with percentage damage headshots. I mean, Wolverine already has percentage damage, so why can’t Widow?

60% is an extreme over buff. It essentially just makes any tank a throw pick.

That creates a long range enemy who will delete all of your hp with 2 good shots, and punishes tanks for their high health pool as it takes more to heal. Percentage based damage is fine with like, Wolverine where it comes from like 10 different attacks, but 1 shot dealing 60% would just make every game either a widow ban or a widow carry.

Why play a tank when most of your hp can be taken out in one shot. Playing a semi-tanky DPS would allow a smaller target & less hp so you can potentially put heal her damage.

On the other hand, something like 30% makes it useless against DPS, and generally just pretty eh. I like the idea of a tank sniper that can out damage heals but not just make tanks a throw pick though.

One of the things that get me killed the most when playing Widow is not being able to sprint while doing a full reload.

I main widow and have three more buffs they could add, either get rid of the wait time between shots, let her charge her gun to do higher damage like widow maker, or give her another better ability that could relate to one of her gadgets

As a Widow main, I was thinking the same thing, she would certainly be improved with a perma-sprint like Captain America. My real qualms however are that her E forces her to reload her rifle after use everytime, making followup shots on targets hit by E very unlikely. The other issue I have is that switching to Electric Batons doesn't actually happen when you need it to, it takes several key presses in order for the command to go through. AND you can't swap weapons while you are sprinting... she definitely needs some love and bugfixing.

I think increasing her rate of fire, along with slightly lowering its damage would be good. Along with buffing her ult and sprint, and making her melee much more viable.

I think instead of trying to increase her damage, we should play into the semi-auto sniper model from CoD where your shots are like 3-4 shots to kill, but you can spray them rapidly. That way sniping is more of a punishment for blatantly bad positioning as opposed to simply peaking a corner or pushing a choke point. It also prevents her from soloing a good dive player because diving should ALWAYS counter poking. Otherwise, there’s no reason not to just play poke every single game

Id like to see her be able to mark enemies that she hits with her sniper. In adution to the anti heal her ult should do more damage over time and initial damage. I also think damage values should basically swap between Widow and Hawkeye allowing Hawkeye to still one shot but only if he fills that focus meter up since he can shoot faster while she can be rewarded for landing those harder to hit headahots and puniahed for missing with her comparatively slower fire rate.

I like the anti, but I don’t think we need more tank busters at this point. She should be rewarded for hitting shots in ways that don’t just mean straight up taking someone out of the game. Maybe cooldowns are lowered after every headshot? Or a hawk moon style effect where the more shots you hit in one magazine amp the damage of your remaining bullets?

Percentage based damage doesn't really make sense to me. The whole point of health points is that characters are supposed to be able to tank damage proportionally to how many health points they have. When damage is percentual to health it kind of ruins this system, increases the amount of influence matchup has on the outcome of games and decreases the amount of influence skill has on the outcome of games. I think they should have her be assassin focused and buff her sprint and baton damage.

Doing 60% in one HS to a tank would make her a long range tank buster with almost no counter if she had infinite sprint (she basically has that now since you rarely have to run long enough to run out of bar). That would be pretty bad for the game in general. TBH, I'd just let her fire a bit more often, shorten her range, give her a melee option or two (neck throw) and let her play an inside out game with hit scan skill shots. Similar to how she does things in the movies. She could kite and shoot you or directly engage with a high damage, short duration CC.

She should also get a grapple for some reason they give her a grapple in the character animation but in the actual game they don’t

I agree with this as someone not only trying to learn her but also loving a character with a sniper rifle. This is just me I would have the batons replaced with a pistol or dual pistols that can act as proper up close damage. As for the percent based damage it'd help with clipping squishy heroes and the tank that strayed from the healer. As for her Ult I think the reduced healing would be nice since remove feels ridiculous. Overall the ideas you got would help her feel more usable. She may not be my main but she'd be a lot more helpful especially with her team up ability being Hawkeye's Ult. But as it stands now Natasha is just there for good looks and hearing "PLASMA!" getting cut off cause its funny.
