Mushroom Block & Tree Giveaway at Carver Library

Spring Love! 🍄💖 the poppies are popping, the bluebonnets are back! This Saturday from 11-3 is the last time to get trees with your mushroom blocks. Come learn how to recycle them like we are for the Healthy Soils, Healthy Tree program.

The @Treefolks NeighborWoods tree adoption program will be at the Black History Month Kids' Day at the George Washington Carver Museum on 2/25 from 11a-3p! No need to pre-register – just come on by! Please bring a Photo I.D, Austin Energy Electricity Bill, or Austin Library Card as proof of residency for trees.

Treefolks will have 500+ trees for everyone to adopt! They’re bringing Peach 'Sam Houston, Plum 'Methley,' Cedar Elm, Texas Red oak, Chinquapin oak, Monterrey Oak, Native Pecan, Live Oak, Texas redbud, Mexican Plum, and Anachcho Orchid Tree. Which one are you getting? The TreeFolks NeighborWoods free tree program is a partnership with the City of Austin Community Tree Preservation Division and Austin Energy.

Mushroom blocks and trees are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
