I don't know why I don't play "The Strange" more often, because that game touches parts of me that nothing else does.

Good stuff as always! Now I want a deck of cypher cards, as if I wasn't already spending enough on RPGs😂

I bought The Origin a few weeks back based on seeing you recommend it. Still reading through it, but BOY am I loving it so far!

It gives me the same vibe that I got when I first discovered Shadowrun so many eons ago. I may do a little kit-bashing with it and run my players through The Awakening using this rules set instead of the somewhat derpy SR rules.

Anyhow, I know this was about MCG, but wanted to thank you for the recommendation, and I thought your list was spot on!

Great Video and list! This can be a very difficult list to make because MCG makes so many high quality products. Keep the Cypher videos coming. I love them :) Spiggs

"How would I rate the monte cook games products?" - DM Tales

"Using a rating system" - Me, being snide to the monitor where DM Tales can't hear me.

Excellent video! Have you ever considered doing a video about what companies are in the market- what they sell- and what you like about them?

cool list. Interesting that you're sort of apologizing or explaining why products came in at 8, 9, 10. There's so many MCG prodcuts that I think coming in #10 is an honor, at least that's how I looked at it on my list.

I'm curious how The Strange is different than Zelazny's Princes of Amber. The shadows of Earth thing.

Also, how do you think the Cypher deck would translate to a non Cypher system game? What would be the things the other system would need to translate it accommodate? It seems like a cool source of non-scroll/potion consumables for a fantasy game, or relics of old civilization for a post-apocalypse game.
