To the people asking for a tutorial: This is quite fake. They use command blocks or some other trick to smush lots of sand into one block, as you can see with the shadow glitching, as well as just pushing them out with the piston to make it look real, when it really isnt.
Edit: You could argue that its the piston making the shadow, but that kind of shadow is impossible in minecraft unless its an entity+block, so they had to have been using command blocks, which they could have easily hidden under the redstone and connected it.
