The reason for the “upside down” plug is that the standard for US plugs was revised to have the ground to be on top, so that if someone drops metal like a coin onto a plug that is not completely plugged in, the ground prong if present will protect the hot and neutral prongs from touching the dropped metal object, preventing a short circuit.

Brightness is very evident. I loved the A90J, but have stayed away from all OLEDs because I can't stand the dimness. The 2023 OLEDs (with MCA) and QD-OLEDs may be the first time I really look at them.

The Samsung looked impressive. Better contrast, brighter and more detail in the darks than the Sony. The whites were very white and the image looked like it had all the advantages of an OLED and an LCD combined. This TV in this size is in the running for a TV I'll buy this year.

Man people worry to much about which tv is better just enjoy whatever tv you want or have I have the c1 and s95b I love both so quit worrying about what you think is superior just enjoy the fact you can have something very nice

Great video and great tv. It’s crazy how this tv and the LG G3 77 is the same exact price. And I’d honestly choose a QD - OLED over a regular OLED. I can also get this tv for $3400 at Best Buy, but I’ll play it safe and wait a few more months.

I do like the size comparisons you are doing more of. Please incorporate that more.... as in put the 77 infront of the 83 etc, gives better idea of real estate difference of screen size.

Dude you have got to be one of the most blessed person that I've ever seen with all those wonderful televisions to watch. I don't see how you afford buying all of them and still be able to eat and have a house to live in. I'm glad that at least some people who can afford to buy nice thing's and live comfort. Tried your tv quiz on your website. Seems to need more work but I quite like the concept! Despite choosing LG, for example, I never got an LG OLED choice despite what I picked, for example. Mostly, Samsung actually. What I did discover is that given where I sit, a 77 inch size is the correct upgrade from my 65 inch LG CX when I need a replacement. The CX is continuing to do well in a room with two large picture windows that face NW where sunlight hits the windows on an angle. Use on the CX is reaching 7500 hrs. Best Buy’s LG rep says 5 years is about what to expect from an LG tv right now. We are now into our fourth year, so I will know . . . soon . . . I should think.
