The Lost Indian solo mandolin by Andy Wood

Hello Music Lovers, its a shame that none of the bluegrass festivals, ibma etc isn't happening this year, BUT the family over at Collings guitars asked all their artists to make some videos to help ease that pain. I decided to do an old tune I used to play with my grandfather and cousin, The Lost Indian. I used to jam along with the Kenny Baker and Tony Rice versions a ton as a kid. Awesome stuff, sorry if you get asked this a lot, but how difficult is it to jump between guitar and mandolin? Aren't the strings set up completely opposite?

Your beautiful Mandolin sounds the opposite of shrill, what pick are you using? Have you ever tried red bear Trading simulated tortoise shell picks?
