Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk 2018 TestDriveNow Video Review By Auto Critic Steve Hammes.
There’s not an in-house tuner as absurdly crazy as Fiat-Chrysler’s SRT division. Just think about what they’ve been doing lately, with products like Hellcat and Demon the names speak for themselves which leads me to this next SRT creation; a Jeep you don’t want to take off-road, the 707hp Trackhawk.

MSRP as-tested: $99,965.

Forgive my misspeak: 1/4 mile in 11.6 sec with a TOP SPEED of 180 mph.

Hmmmm...7070 miles on the odometer. Coincidence or not? Ha!

If I had the funds, I would buy one for sure. The JGC remains one of the few FCA vehicles I would purchase

180 mph at quarter mile doesn't seem correct. Chrysler continues to be the least reliable among the three American carmakers.

Good product, Makes you wonder why they won't make a Demon Charger with this AWD set up..

So did Jeep mean to leave the Hellcat logo on the engine or did they forget it was there? After all it is FCA...

Cute catch with the odometer reading. 1:48. :-)

I know the Trackhawk is nearly $100k. But like you said, this Jeep undercuts price wise via its competition — Porsche Cayenne Turbo (the top V8 or they’ll come up something awesome) an Mercedes AMG GLE with the insane V8 and BMW X5M.

Steve, you reviewed the 2014 SRT Jeep. 100k is a lot to spend on any car/truck. Is there a huge gap in performance and value when you compare the trackhawk to the 2014 SRT Jeep. A 2014 pre-owned SRT Jeep can be acquired for 38k with decent mileage. What are your thoughts?

Hello ..

Thanks great review ..

Just one question what about the stability of the car ?? Is it stable in the high speed and in the turns ?

I owned jeep Srt8 2009 it is the worst car ever i used ( not stable in road ever )

Hope to hear from you.

If you just talked about this car every week, that would be cool. If it had three rows, and you could fake the MPG readout to fool your wife, I'd be tempted to the point of existential crisis. I need to seriously explore--with a professional--why I so badly want this next to my Kia Soul EV in the driveway.

Thanks for a fun review of a simply insane vehicle!

Given it's weight, that braking is super impressive!

I don't care how much horsepower it has, that interior is disgustingly cheap, especially for six figures.
