We are so lucky to be living at the Eleftherios Petrounias' era in rings. Maaan the man got a surgery to his shoulder and still won a metal and if it wasn't for the second landing step I think he would have won the 2nd one because I believe the Chinese athlete's performance was better overall this time. Congrats to everyone!!

I'm not gonna pretend that the winner didn't deserve it... he absolutely did! But i feel lefteris deserved 2nd place because I think his program was more difficult... His landing costed him but i think he deserved the silver! Anyway he is still one of the best in the sport ever and we are all very proud of him! Congratulations!!

The greek athlete reminded me of the Italian Yuri Chechi: gold winner, coming back from an injury and still being among the big guys with a medal.

The Chinese winner was a beast: don't even check for doping on him, check directly for transistors and robotic components :D

Both the Chinese athletes here were overscored not just to Petrounia's routine but in comparison to all other athletes' efforts as well. Especially, You Hou's program despite its higher to Petrounia's DS value was fatally inferior executionaly - wise. A shame.
