Say NO to store-bought Canned Chickpea or Garbanzo Beans. All you need is garbanzo bean or chickpea, water, and instant pot. Use the cooked beans right away, or store them in the fridge for up to 1 week or freezer for longer to replace a can of chickpeas in recipes.

Soaking:
Chickpeas/Garbanzo Beans- 1 Cup
Water- 3 Cups
Salt- 1 Tsp (Optional)
No Soak:
Chickpeas/Garbanzo Beans- 1Cup
Water- 3 Cups

Instructions:
Soaking Method:
· Cover the chickpeas with 2 cups of water in a large bowl, and let them soak for 8 hours, or overnight.
· When you're ready to cook, drain the chickpeas, and give it a quick wash with cold water.
· Add them to the inner pot of your Instant Pot and add 3 cups of water.
· Close the lid and seal the vent. Cook it for 12 minutes.
· Do a natural release for 20 minutes and release the remaining pressure.
· Drain the water completely. If you want to save the water for cooking.
· Use the cooked beans right away, or store them in the fridge for up to 1 week or freezer for longer to replace a can of chickpeas in recipes.
No- Soak Method:
· Wash the chickpeas/garbanzo beans.
