Jade Stone Effect Nail Art

Hiya Duck we have Fay in the building today! She’s having some stone-inspired nails she thinks it's berryl but me and Adam are saying it's Jade what do you think?

I’ll start by cleaning over the nails with some clean-up solution and a lint-free pad, then I can give these a coat of Base, cure that, and a full cover of Beige Dave then give that a cure to.

Now I’m going to need some Cling Film that I can use to lay over some wet gel and disturb the product I’ll cut that into some small pieces just big enough to cover the nail.

Now I’ll take some Mustang that’s a green Hue Top-Coat I’ll paint a thin layer of that onto the nail then cover it with the Cling Film and press some wrinkles into it and then I can give a five-second cure and remove the cling film.

Now I’ll add some tiny pieces of gold leaf randomly across the design.

Now I’ll use a brand new color called Quarts I’ll make sure to mush it into all the recesses then I’ll give it a cure and take off the sticky layer using some clean-up solution on a lint-free pad.

Now I’ll take a 180-grit file and file over the nail just to smooth it out.

Now we can do the same on the rest of the nails once we are all caught up we can give these a topcoat.

Now I’m going to add some golden nail trinkets to do that ill place some of Nailchemys crystal totals gem glue on my pallet and ill use my Pammy picker-upper to position the Glue where I want to place the trinkets then I can pop the trinkets into the glue and give that a cure.

Now to finish off this design I’ll topcoat the nails again this time going over the trinkets as well and that’s it!

I’d go with ‘green serpentine’. Then there’s a pattern leading from the snake skin 😂 (sorry). Malachite and adventurine were also in my head.

Emerald like diamonds are from the corundum family of hard stones, jade is rather soft and very delicate

Hi Kirsty.. The stone name… it looks exactly like malachite!
When I was a child I knew African lady (her hey day would’ve been the 70’s) and her house was ‘covered’ in both malachite and ivory huge ornaments. There was a full zebra skin on the tiled floor, and full leopard ‘including claws’ over her leather poufé! .. I’d never seen anything like that here in Ireland, never forget that very striking green colour!
I think Morganite, kunzite and emerald are the Beryl stones Faye was talking about 🤔
