I would love to see the Embraer C-390 soaring in the Indian skies. The acquisition of Embraer Millenium by Indian Air Force is one of the most important moves both for EMBRAER and also for Indian Air Force.
This adoption is VERY important by the long run of the Millenium because India will be almost certain the greater Millenium operator (only Saudi Arabia can challenge it) but as the size and needs of Indian Air Force even so India tends to be bigger.
As IAF already operate a AEW aircraft based in an EMBRAER platform and a India radar system, IF will see a AWACS special variant based in the Millenium platform in some future SURELY will be another INDIA-BRASIL COLLABORATION INITIATIVE!!!
As Millenium has plenty British and American contend is not possible to sell the Millenium to other key partners of BRICS like China, Russia and Iran and due EMBRAER commercial restrains on the commercial aviation market (based in the WEST) even was technically possible to make a non western contend Millenium is very unlike this could be DONE.
SO India is the highest target value for Millenium.
By the Indian SIDE, IAF will have at his disposal the most advanced tactical air transport available TODAY had as the bigger operator and most important customer of the Brazilian EMBRAER they will have the BEST air transport WING to solve all their logistics problems for AT LEAST half of CENTURY...
