Por Una Cabeza…it is a Spanish horse-racing phrase meaning "by a head", which refers to a horse winning a race by the length of one head. Strangely I had a horse dream a day before! Isn’t it something? Ha!
I recently performed this song at the Ritz and I thought it would be better to play at home. When I perform at lounge, I always play 40%-50% softer than usual. Cmon! It’s tango! I can’t hide the passion!

I grew up listening to Carlos Gardel music as Puerto Rican kid in Bklyn. My father loved Carlos Gardel. My father and his first cousin would have a beer and started singing along with his Gardel 78s. Thanks for the memories. Beautiful.
