A whole season that could have been one, singular episode. Insane.

Watching silo feels like waiting for a glacier to crack. at this pace I might finish the series just in time for the next ice age lol

At this point you could just watch the 1st and last episode of this season and youd miss nothing.

All I know is Juliet gone look like spongebob at the end of this with all the injuries.

Making barely any progress in 10 episodes is crazy.

I was most hyped for Juliette’s story but honestly Bernard stole the show for me this season in having the most interesting moments.

Having Juliette spend almost the entire season pottering around an empty silo not doing or learning very much has been such a drag. They really didn’t judge that right. Pacing is way off.

Is it just me or it's getting frustrated. Juliet story and Quinn's latter revelation is moving too slow.

I feel like everything juliette did this entire season couldve been shown to us in one episode or two

There’s what 10 episodes in this season, and with the trailer connections you made, it feels like they are going to cram so much into final 2 episodes rather than more storytelling over 5-6 episodes they could have done

I did not expect that 8 episodes into season 2, we’d have 0 answeres about the outside world and Juliette STILL just ending up in ANOTHER solo the entire season. They’re really dragging her storyline cuz they know the outside world is what people are really interested in. I bet episode 9 won’t show Juliette at all. Or maybe the last 30 seconds like that one episode

Walker went from cool mentor to easily the worst written character this season. I don't mind a slow burn but this season is starting to get on my nerves now.

I do not understand why people defend this weekly drag instead of just releasing the entire season at once.

Sure it builds up anticipation and people can speculate but it really kills the immersion. Deep sigh

The Quinn's code has been broken for almost 3 weeks now by reddit users. It reads (spoiler alert):
"If you’ve gotten this far you already know.
The game is rigged.
We think we’re the chosen ones but we’re only one of many
The founders didn’t build a single silo
They built fifty
And they created the safeguard
We have been lied to.
We are not safe.
our home is not a sanctuary but a trap.
The fate of this silo is determined by another
One with the power to kill everyone here in an
Instant reason be damned.
If you don’t believe me go to the very bottom of the silo,
Find the tunnel, you will get confirmation there."

It's worth noting in Walker and Bernard's "negotiation" Bernard promises that after everything is back to normal that Walk would be, "reunited with [her] true love once again." He didn't say Carla would be released. I think the "deal" is even worse than Walker knows it is.

Predictions for next episode:
- Jules gets some life threatening injuries but miraculously survives
- Jules gets her suit back after solving an episode long problem, then is faced with another cliff hanger problem that she will spend the finale solving before she can go back to Silo 18 in the last 5-10 minutes of the season
- Mechanical continues to rebel against the silo without making any significant progress
- Mechanical try to find out who the snitch is & Walk’s behavior makes them suspicious
- Sims tries to regain his power
- Camille meddles behind Sims’ back
- Lukas continues to dig into the Salvador Quinn mystery and finds out nothing other than some vague information hinting that the Silo is bad & suspicious
- Bernard is faced with some adversity in his effort to regain full control of the silo
- Billings is faced with a conflict of interest between his faith in the pact & his morals

and as for the crumbs of actual plot progression:
- Some or all of the truth behind Solo’s identity & the backstory of the Silo 17 rebels is revealed. Will likely underwhelming relative to the amount of build up
- Answers are given about Camille’s shady behavior (maybe)

Silo is a series that's great to watch while doing something completely different. For example, washing up, cooking or shopping in the store around the corner.

Up to this episode, I was being patient and enjoying the slower pace. But now the writers are going too far.

This really should have been more of a 'reveal episode'. I fear they are gonna cram too many b-stories into the last two episodes.
I am disappointed. I am investing time and attention, but the writers are taking it too far.

This season is going very slow but I do like how its putting some of the characters in the same places as they are in the books. i.e. Lukas as the IT shadow, the surviving children in Silo 17. I hope it'll end with some sort of contact between Silo 17 & 18 and the revelation of Salvador Quinns full message.

So help me god if the show doesn’t at least finish the 1st book by the end of this season, I’m giving up on it. It’s going so damn slow, and it feels like they’re working toward a cliffhanger that ends just before the events at the end of Wool instead of finishing it already so we can get on to Shift immediately next season.

There are two more whole books to cover in the last two seasons the showrunners have confirmed they will make, yet how come they can’t seem to complete even one book in the first two seasons?!?!?

This was so Did it really have to take a whole f’ing episode to show what happened to Jules in the 15 minutes after she got out of the water??!?!?

each episode i see people complaining it’s slow and it IS slow idk why others try to say we don’t have attention spans or whatever. LITERALLY nothing is happening i want to put my attention on something but you could pick a random scene from any episode thus far and juliette would be underwater, mechanical would be breaking into things, sims and camille are scheming. like there is nothing substantial happening or moving the story forward. book pacing ≠ tv pacing. different mediums for a reason. half the plot is others catching up on things we the audience already know and have known for a long time while the mysteries stay locked behind cheap cliffhangers.
