Obsessed Garage TIRE DRESSING Review & Durability Test. Is it as good as they say?

Testing Obsessed Garage Tire Dressing. Obsessed Garage is known for having top shelf products. OG Tire Dressing is part of Obsessed Garages own product line. Its simple label, ease of use and deep black shine earns a a spot on my shelf. I tested it thoroughly prior to this review. Hopefully Obsessed garage will continue to put out products that compete strongly with the larger detailing companies and hopefully will offer them at a price that is attractive. I use Perl diluted 1:1 in a 500ml Carpro bottle with the same applicator you’re using. Looks great for a long time & it’s economical. I’ll stick with perl.

I haven't tried OG TD yet! I like that it's simple as well... just like His Drying Aid... no bs, it simply reads "Drying Aid"! Matt is a no bs kind of guy.

The tires look good with that dressing on them. I'll probably end up with a gallon.

I have OG and find it just ok. I think it’s over priced so won’t be buying regularly because it’s not that impressive.

That stuff smells so good! I still reach for Ammo Mud or Koch Chemie Plast Star for most of my customers, but this stuff is great too.

I will stick with PEARL. Can be diluted and if you dont want the shine, you could knock it off with microfiber towel

Haven’t tired the OG dressing but I have been using Longevity from Xtreme Solutions for a year now and it is awesome

Man I am with you on some of these product labels. Sometimes companies do too much, and you if you got multiple products from the same company, it’s gonna take some searching to do to find your product! I love a spray-on tire dressing. This one looks great and reminds me of my favorite one, Adam’s Graphene Tire Dressing. Give that one a shot man. You’d love it!

I am currently using Optimum Tire Gel, about $38.00 per gallon. I have used Carpro Perl, cost about $35.00 per liter. I believe I prefer the Optimum over Perl, plus a better price. It's all about the bang for the buck.

Nice video. I am experimenting with finding the tire dressing that works best for me. Purchased the OG tire dressing and used it for the second time on my Tesla model Y. It was a wet week in NY and while this dressing is nor designed to last for weeks, it did last the week and after a wash the tires looked great. It seemed like the next application was pre-primed and the dressing went on easier.

I bought this product thinking it would be the best since Matt hyped it up to be better than carpro perl and because it was $40!! For a 32oz bottle. I was okay paying the premium price expecting it to be an outstanding product but I was heavily disappointed. It does smell good and I like the sprayer also but it does NOT last long, in my real life testing it doesn't withstand rain either as it was advertised. The product is definitely mediocre considering that it is one of, if not the most expensive tire dressing on the market. Specially if you do detailing professionally, this product will only hurt your revenue. Perhaps only for enthusiasts who don't mind spending a lot of money.. It is not a bad product but it is not great at all. I realized people only try to avoid telling the truth about it out of respect for Matt but at the same time, I don't agree the consumer should be I'll informed. Thank you for doing this review as it proves it's not great but just okay.
